Bondi Rescue saves the Storm Surfers

Hi guys,

It almost goes without saying that big wave surfing is treacherous, and with so many crew in the water on a Storm Surfers shoot, not to mention two frothing maniacs leading the way, certain precautions need to be taken because anything can and does go wrong. This week’s microdoc gives some insight to the difficult job of keeping track of Ross and Tom in the water with Bondi Lifeguard and water safety officer on Storm Surfers Dangerous Banks, Rodd ‘Box’ Kerr.

On a serious note, our best wishes go out to another Bondi Lifeguard and member of the Storm Surfers family Kobi Graham who recently suffered a broken neck surfing OURS in Sydney. Kobi is currently in hospital recovering. He worked as water safety on our most recent missions to New Zealand and Pedra Branca, and is an accomplished big wave surfer bagging some of the best waves on the Pedra trip.

Get well brother!

Also, don’t forget to ‘like’ our facebook page (to the right), where you’ll receive updates on all of the Storm Surfers journeys as we countdown to the Discovery Channel launch in July.

And finally, CLICK HERE for our STORM SURFERS: DANGEROUS BANKS DVD OFFER. You’ll have it in 2 working days, with a hand-signed poster from Ross and Tom!
